Safe Place 2026-2027
This free, twice-monthly program brings together neurodivergent and special needs youth of all ages and abilities, along with their families, to build community, create meaningful connections, share resources, and support one another.
Meetings provide opportunities to develop social skills, participate in activities, connect with other families, and learn from guest speakers and community presenters. Throughout the year, the program also offers special events and experiences designed to encourage inclusion, friendship, and belonging.
Pizza is provided at every meeting!
More than a support group, this program is a community-building and advocacy initiative. Families have a voice in identifying challenges and gaps in services and opportunities for youth. Through shared experiences and collective advocacy, participants can help bring those needs to the attention of town officials, schools, organizations, and community service providers.
Our goal is to create a welcoming community where youth and families feel seen, supported, connected, and empowered to help make their community more inclusive and accessible for everyone.
