Student Advisory Board 2026-2027
The Student Advisory Board is a group of motivated high school students dedicated to leadership, community service, youth advocacy, and positive change. Members help guide the vision and direction of the Youth Agency by discussing current youth issues, planning programs and events, volunteering in the community, and ensuring that youth voices are heard and valued.
Opportunities for Student Advisory Board Members
- Serve on the New Milford Youth Agency Board of Directors
- Represent youth perspectives at Town Council meetings
- Assist with community-wide events and programs
- Develop leadership, advocacy, and public-speaking skills
- Help identify and address issues affecting local youth
- Work collaboratively with community leaders, staff, and other students
