Buddy Up is a youth mentoring program that connects high school students with younger students in grades 3–8 to build positive, supportive relationships through weekly one-on-one and group interactions.
High school mentors serve as positive role models and trusted peers, providing encouragement, guidance, academic support, and a listening ear. Through consistent weekly meetings, mentors and mentees have opportunities to develop trust, strengthen communication and social skills, build confidence, and form meaningful connections.Activities may include homework help, games, group activities, creative projects, discussions, problem-solving activities, and other structured experiences designed to encourage cooperation, friendship, and personal growth.Buddy Up benefits both mentors and mentees.
